Packaging   tryst jewellery is always conscious of maintaining green packaging as much as possible. All jewellery is individually packaged on a jewellery card and into a gift box - ready for giving. Our boxes are made from 100% recycled boxboard with an 80% total recycled paper content. Our mailing envelopes are made from 30% post consumer material. And lastly, our shipping boxes and crinkle paper are also made from 80% recycled paper. Plastic bubble wrap is rarely used, depending on the item - these are recycled as well. Sale items may also be packaged in bubble wrap and a organza bag. We encourage customers to continue this process by recycling everything if you do not wish to keep them. IMPORTANT SHIPPING CHANGES Starting February 1, 2010, all packages will be shipped with tracking. Canadian orders will be shipped via Canada Post's Expedited service (2-7 business days) and US/International orders will be shipped via FedEx's International Ground service (2-7 business days). Shipping dates will no longer be every business day, but every Tuesday and Friday. Although shipping dates are less frequent, shipping with tracking will significantly reduce transit times. Packages heading to Canadian destinations will be mailed Canada Post Expedited, US/International will be mailed FedEx International Ground. Orders will be processed 3-5 days after payment, Monday to Friday. We will not process or ship any orders on national holidays – if this occurs, we will notify you by e-mail and mail your order as soon as possible. We combine shipping for multiple orders and ship worldwide. Please note that orders will take 1-2 weeks to arrive - from my hands to yours! Please be patient and understand that every piece is made by hand. Further shipping delays are often the result of customs checking packages as it enters your country. Payment All prices are in USD and can be conveniently converted using the Currency Conversion tool in the left sidebar. Payments can be made securely by credit card in US dollars, we only accept Visa and Mastercard at the time. IMPORTANT PAYMENT CHANGES Starting April 20, 2010, all orders will be processed via credit card. PayPal will no longer be accepted. We apologize if this causes any inconveniences, though this should save time where you won't have to create a PayPal account in order to submit payment. Return Policy We completely understand that shopping online is a little more difficult because you cannot see the piece in real life. Photographs are enlarged to show detail, but actual sizes are represented to the best of our ability through additional photos (on a live model/hand) and measurements in both metric (mm/cm) and imperial units (inches/feet). If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please be sure to contact us within 7 days of the date that your package is received. We will be happy to issue an exchange or store credit (minus shipping). All custom orders and sale items are final sale. Please send returns in a box or padded envelope with a tracking number. If we do not receive your returned package in the original condition sent, we reserve the right to refuse your return - we are not responsible for returned packages lost in the mail. Please contact us BEFORE returning an item for an authorization of your refund/exchange. If there is an error on our end, we will accept responsibility for return shipping. Otherwise, return shipping is the customer's responsibility - shipping with tracking is recommended (but not necessary) to ensure the item is successfully delivered and returned in the condition received. All returned items will be inspected thoroughly - a restocking fee may be charged at our discretion - please note that for hygienic reasons, this fee will always be applied for the return of earrings. Unauthorized merchandise will be sent back at customer's expense. Returns typically take about 2 weeks to process, your refund will take 1 to 2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement.
